Does My Blog Look Big in This? It's not big and it's not clever. Saturday, January 23, 2010. Les Bonhommes de Neige (Snowmen). I am meant to be researching an article for a presentation I have to give for my French class but have become rather distracted by the picture in Libération today, of the snowman demonstration (manifestation des bonhommes de neige in French) in Berlin. Anyway, what caught my eye was the little one in the bottom-left corner with the sign which just says SHIT! Au revoir mes petits!

Does My Blog Look Big in This? It's not big and it's not clever. Sunday, June 06, 2010. What better way to spend a sunny weekend in London than in the garden? It's been a busy old couple of days as the garden has been a bit neglected owing to our holiday in Carcassonne. But now I'm back and the weather is warm so it's time to get a-planting and a-weeding and generally a-tidying up! Last year was a good year for both and they were planted close to eachother so here's hoping for good results this year too.

To lovely sunny, summery Spain! We started off in rainy, cold Paris but were soon on our way to the South and woke up in much warmer climes after our overnight train ride. Périgueux is very pretty with lots of little lanes and a mix of Medieval and Renaissance houses.
