The next morning we got some donuts and chocolate milk, sang happy birthday and she opened her frozen dress up dresses. She was so happy! She kept walking around in her dresses shouting "it's my birthday! I so pwetty" and "I two now" all day. She is such a blessing in our lives, I can't imagine my life without her. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. The best mothers day. Mother's day this year was absolutely magical. Frances was just barely a week old and I didn't want anything more than to lay low and cuddle my sweet babies all day. David let me sleep in and then brought me breakfast in bed. Rem and Olive gifted me some handmade cards they had colored. They were so sweet! I got hugs and kisses and "i yove you momma" whispered in my ear all day. My heart was so full. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Christmas and New beginnings. Christmas was very low key this year. The decorations are already packed away and our home has been getting a good declutter and scrub down to start off the new year fresh. The babies were spoiled by both sets of grandparents with fun toys and cute new outfits. We spent the day in our jammies, eating chocolate and enjoying family time. I couldn't have asked for more. I am really looking forward to the new year. This year has taught me so much.

Justin has not been the easiest baby so I do not have the time I would like to spend with him. He has expressed a desire to work on his numbers and letters. Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Let's get real. Babies are cute and fun, but taking care of one around the clock is exhausting! Shawn has never been a good sleeper. Around 3 months he started doing a little better and would give us one solid 4-6 hour stretch of sleep, but once he turned 4 months old the sleeping situation went downhill. He wouldn't sleep in his crib for more than 1-2 hours without waking up. We tried it all! But now, at 7 months old, we are all finally getting some sleep! Yer a wizard, Harry.
