Friday, April 4, 2014. Lava, the Burg and a full moon. I even crammed in an 8 1/2 mile run on a small highway in the middle of nowhere and it was so gorgeous I could have ran all day! That night we hit up the mineral hot pools which would have been way more fun without kids. I would have preferred to just sit and soak with Wayne. Monday, January 16, 2012. Morty Jr. went to Cub Scouts last Wednesday and learned how to make lava lamps so of course he needed to show his siblings. On Saturday we got out some water bottles, food coloring, oil and alki-seltzer. He explained to the other kids how to make the concoction and they were ready for fun. Here is how to do it: partially fill the water bottle and add food coloring, fill it almost to the top with oil, drop in the alki-seltzer and watch the water bubble through the oil.

Sunday, February 19, 2012. Big Trucks are COOL! When "Uncle Jack" came to town this weekend he brought this bug truck and drill. It is on its way to Georgia from Washington. We pulled up to the driveway and. Yelled, "I LOVE Uncle Jack, he brings BIG TRUCKS! Was ecstatic to see it, as you can see. He ran back and forth from the front to the back checking it out.
