James Bercovici - The Big Red Wine Company: The Italians have arrived
http://bigredwine.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-italians-have-arrived.html
Tuesday, 5 August 2014. The Italians have arrived. Yes, I was interested to see that the 2010 Broccardo is in a sloping 'Burgundy' bottle in contrast to the square-shouldered 'Bordeaux' bottle of the 2009 vintage and I noted the new look label which I admired for its more traditional look than the more modernist 2009 but what of it? Oh well, at least it's tax deductible (well, the first sip, anyway). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Italians have arrived. Followed very soon after.

James Bercovici - The Big Red Wine Company: January 2015
http://bigredwine.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 28 January 2015. 2011 Burgundy - a couple of wines tasted. With the 2010s from Domaine Joblot all but finished, I thought a tasting of the 2011s advisable. The Cellier aux Moines was tasted shortly before Christmas (excellent fruit, quite tannic so needs an hour or so to breathe - hmmm) and there is so little of Servoisine left there was no point in trying this now so I have just popped corks on the other two Premier Cru reds from this superb estate. And these haven't even started. Simple temp...

James Bercovici - The Big Red Wine Company: December 2013
http://bigredwine.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 18 December 2013. What's in store for 2014? Well, when Jill challenged me to go for the whole of January without wine, my first thought was "Don't be ridiculous". My second thought was "Don't be ridiculous" but when I realised she actually meant it, I decided I may as well do it for a good cause so I am going to attempt the impossible (or, certainly, improbable) and go for thirty one consecutive days. Don't forget to GiftAid your donation so Osborne has to stump up his share too! Cascina Saria...

Winepost Wine Blog: January 2007
http://winepost.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
A Wine Blog reviewing wines and wine related stuff that I come across, and looking at what's in the shops at the moment. Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Another Wine writer takes a swipe at bloggers. Whilst reading the current (March 07) copy of Olive magazine (my wife's magazine subscription as opposed to my Decanter) I came across the wine column (how very surprising! Wine Nerds have always loved the Internet. And now they are busy setting up blogs to tell the world about their favorite wine. Out there in t...
