The little details of the big picture. February 28, 2008. Check Your Local Listings. An amusing side effect of the modern multiplex is the crowded marquee. Take a couple of proper name film titles and a verb-based film title, and then fit them in a confined space and titter at the accidental phrases that occasionally result. While this sort of thing has been fodder for 'funny photo' forums and obnoxious catch-all humor sites for years, last summer's release of the film Knocked Up. Well, now it looks like...

The little details of the big picture. July 29, 2008. True Blood vs. Jennifer's Body. The image on the left is part of HBO's multi-faceted viral marketing campaign for their upcoming vampire show True Blood. Just two days after this poster debuted, 20th Century Fox unveiled the teaser one-sheet for the upcoming film Jennifer's Body. Although the two projects have very different stories, the marketing approach is strikingly similar. Which used the familiar lip-licking closeup back in 1995.

The little details of the big picture. April 1, 2008. The Sincerest Form of Flattery. The upcoming documentary American Teen. Examines the various cliques within the senior class of an Indiana high school. The theatrical poster pays tribute to the artwork for another film that dealt with teen cliques, the '80s teen classic The Breakfast Club. They did a very good job on matching the poses, but my favorite nod to the John Hughes film remains the original poster for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2.

Jeff Keezel's Place: Prediction - BORAT
http://thekeez.blogspot.com/2006/10/prediction-borat.html
Tuesday, October 31, 2006. This is getting a lot of hype and I admit it looks pretty funny but I'm thinking it's a bit subtle for the true MONSTER audience. I'm thinking it will open big with the college crowd but then go down pretty fast. Not bad really - how much did it cost to make this thing - $1.38? So for the prediction we won't say it'll be a goat - just a fuzzy little monster. Posted by thekeez @ 8:08 AM. View my complete profile. The House Next Door. Syllabub - Words on Food.
