So as a surprise for Makensie, I invited Emily to spend one night with us a few days before they leave for their trip. What a sweet surprise it was for her! They were just waking up. :). As for Me and My House. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. The kids and I went for an afternoon walk in Ocean Springs. It was such a nice day, a little warm but nice. I love the new boardwalk and upgrades they've made at the beach. Makensie had her first soccer game. She does well as the goalie, and she can really kick the ball. I can see her improving every week. As for Me and My House. Saturday, June 26, 2010. Better Late Than Never.(:. Within just a few minutes, she had it down! Now, she gets on it just about every day and practices some more. She's still a little rough on the edges, but she's getting it. When I finally was able to get her to push herself off and she did it successfully, she stopped, looked at me and yelled, "That was amazing! Gotta love my amazing, beautiful girl! Makensie got 7 inches cut off and we donated it to Locks of Love!
