He also quite enjoyed the chocolate bike I got for him on our wedding day. We have bicycle art in our house. Ever since I started dabbling in mid-century recipes, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of making a pineapple upside-down cake. I’ve never had one before, but they look delicious, and my parents assure me that the ones their grandmothers made were always scrumptious. I found a recipe. So, there was the iron skillet part.

Our friends were married by the same priest that married us, in the same church. The Boy was the Best Man, and Fr. Joe took more than a few jabs at him in throughout the ceremony. Happy day of their marriage. He said in your marriage you should love each more today than yesterday, and a little bit more tomorrow. I thought I loved you then. Love to you both🙂.
