Inspired by my latest post about the bike-friendly streets of Budapest I thought I’d share a few old memories from the beautiful and achingly cool beach town Hossegor in South West France. Joe making his way to the beach with board under arm. Surfers out there will already be aware that Hossegor is. Performed in a tiny bar on the edge of a near-defunct skate park.

This Christmas holiday I was fortunate enough to be whisked further afield after the chocolates and turkey had settled and the wine was just starting to run dry, we fled to Budapest, land of good wine, soviet memories, thermal baths. And a damn good cycle network. The architecture of Budapest, a view from Buda castle across the Danube. A warming 38 degrees at Szechenyi thermal baths.
