So, I’ve got a new one now – a VP-A69AC, silver anodised with replaceable cartridge bearings. In the 80s, when Channel 4 was still new and showing stuff that wouldn’t appear on the other channels that existed at the time, I was very fond of Murun Buchstansangur. It's a blog, about building a bike. April 29, 2011. The forks are carbon, with a 1-and-1/8″ alloy steerer. Same red-white-and-blue laurel wreath here as there is at a few places on the frame. Looks like there’s clearance for a decent sized mudguard – just over 40mm wide under the fork crown. It’s a shame that there’s a chip right on end of the fork on one side. Touring Bike (Build 2). Saturday, October 20, 2007. So after 100 miles in the saddle, I figure it's about time to deliver some information. I'll keep it brief-ish. The rear derailleur is starting to act like it needs some adjustment. Occasionally it won't shift properly. It grinds a bit and sometimes won't shift until you shift down and back up again. The rear brake is still squealing, even after adjustment initially. Maybe after 100 miles it will adjust properly. LOVE the shifters. So great! Shimano Deo...
