I tried adjusting both fore/aft position of the bike seat and height and this has made a major difference. Moving the seat up helped and back slightly. I also found on my long ride recently I got outer knee pain and found that adjusting the cleat so the direction of the foot was more pointed slightly inward helped. April 22, 2015.
