What would you take to sturgis? Sturgis week is almost here. I started the more active part of trip planning this weekend, basically packing. It is incredible the amount of stuff that you carry even is you consider yourself a light traveler, like I do. Just for fun, here's a list of what I will take on my trip (there may be changes added, as I get ready to leave). Clothes: just enough for half a week. Let me see some Buffalos, and let me have some for lunch too. Big storm last night. We woke up early to wipe the bikes and start our journey to Mt Rushmore. After taking a few pictures and solving an IT problem from the office there, we headed to Custer State Park. Great ride and we managed to see a lot of Buffalos.and eat them too, in the shape of Buffalo burgers at a cookout. Oscar likes snakes, so he suggested to stop at Reptile Garden just outside of Rapid City.

End of day 1. Well, here we are in a little town about 20 miles north of Wichita KS. We did not make it to Salina, as I wanted, as some construction road and rain slowed us down. But that did not stop us from visiting one of my favorite places north of Oklahoma City: Pops gas station and restaurant. Here's a picture that we took there. Well, now it's time to go to bed, w have to start early, to get al the way to Murdo SD tomorrow. See you tomorrow!
