By Cycles, By Heart and Always True. A temp site for those interested in creating a velocentric social club (or, well, i guess now its three years old, but whatever). Monday, 4 May 2009. Shoes that you can take home to your parents. So NYC Bike snob. Just got sent a new pair of the Vittoria 1976 shoes. They look like you could wear them to work most places and not look like you are ready for soccer practice. They have flexible soles and take SPD's so you wont fall on your ass.

Amidst our Failing Economy, Laughter. Q: How many commodities traders does it take to change a light bulb? A: None, they don’t change bulbs; but the trading price of darkness does plummet due to oversupply. From deep within the freakonomics blog. Posted by carlito sway. Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Oct 8 - Devora's Mom's Birthday Party. The next two weeks spent in Vancouver was a 'vacation' of sorts, but no less exciting and thought-provoking. Devora's family is Jewish. Why does that matter to me? Or, am I really only a stranger to myself? Do I yearn to believe there is a possibility for there to be no strangers? Are we all in some way estranged? Posted by E-money @ 12:35 AM. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Oct 7 (Day 35) - Makin it to Vancouver. When I reached Burnaby, a cit...

Monday, June 06, 2016. It has been a long time since I posted anything. Life has been cruising along. Towards the end of last summer I started looking into a Cross Country full suspension bike. I looked at a lot of them, Cannondale Scalpel, Specialized FSR, Scott Spark, and Trek Fuel. I was just looking, then I saw a post about KTM Bikes. I knew they made incredible motorcycles, but mountain bikes? Thanks for reading,. Sunday, August 30, 2015. This is the dish I had in France. Cheese. And I have have...

Bikes and Beers in Oslo

Bikes and Beers in Oslo. September 10, 2014.

Bikes And Bees

Tuesday, 9 May 2017. This time last week we were all making our way to Brussels. Except for Claud. Claud's train never left Swindon. That was a great shame. Claud was wearing Lion of Flanders cycling socks and everything! He made a couple of philosophical statements, like 'you can buy a bike in every sweetshop, but you can't buy sweets in a bike shop'. Or did I mis-hear that? His point was that bike shops are disappearing. Well, if you are in Hooglede. It didn't take long for Fridays to arrive. It was a ...
