Today I got a resending of the message confirming that the paper was finally accepted on Sep 23rd. Great! It will be on astro-ph on monday! Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Pre-processing of images (still). Half good humor forcast for the day! Ie, if the weather is good and I can take 30 minuts of bike riding is a good forecast, if it's bad and I have to cycle indoors, is a "half good" forecast, and none of them, is a bad forecast! Today it was indoor cycling. An interesting talk in the morning, meeting in the beginning of the afternoon . OK. Image pre-processing most of the day. It's over, now I can treat the data! Thursday, December 15, 2005. There has being no posting this week for a simple reason. I spent the whole week arranging my trip to Brazil. Basically there was no time to do anything. Some corrections on the CMB dN/dS simulations. Now they are right. I'm preparing the plots. Nice talk about rotation curves from our Ph.D. student on tuesday. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Comments on the first part of the text - to be implemented. Memory upgrade on the notebook - OK. Tuning things on the notebook - OK. Talk at SISSA - Ready (I'll keep polishing, anyway). Deadlines for telescope time proposals durring the school - OK. Data to do finish opened issues - On board. Basically, I'm ready to go! Monday, October 31, 2005. Talk is almost ready! I put everything there, lots of figures, as I think there should be in a talk . the nice stuff . I prepared a script to make the analysis of a small section of one image on-the-fly! 1- At home I gotta make it work on windows . 2- Fancy things like movies or this analysis NEVER work during a talk! Group meeting in the morning (to end up the discussion from yesterday), then the whole day trying to comeout with good flatfields in the R band . not exactely sucessfull. Thursday, July 21, 2005. Yesterday and today I visited my old institute (INPE) to see the friends and to try to keep some projects running. Some progress was made on the paper about detection of point sources in the BEAST CMB data, M.Sc. thesis that I co-supervised with C. A. Wuensche. Now this paper may be on the right track, I hope.
