Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Moderately hard ride 70km ride from Walchwil to Andermatt. All of the ride, except for the last 5km of climbing from Göschenen to Andermatt, was very pleasant. The last 5km is very pretty road, but there can be lots of traffic on the mountain switchbacks and very little shoulder for riding; whereas the cogwheel train between Göschenen to Andermatt along the same stretch is very pleasant. Ride along the shorelines of 3 pretty lakes: Zuggersee, Lauerzsee, and Vierwaldstättersee.
