The older I get, the faster I was. In 1979 I bought a used book for a dime, Aerobics, by Dr. Kenneth Cooper. It changed my life. Loving life and my road bike. September 1, 2016. DALMAC day two: never-ending wind makes it a challenge. Second 70 mile day with wind that just wouldn’t quit. Hills, too. As the day wore on, I moved to the small ring. Just didn’t have the gas to power up after 60 tough miles. I think we’re going to sleep well tonight. We rolled through tiny towns today. Fun little lunch stop in Lake George where we inhaled our meals! Looking forward to a shorter riding today tomorrow! DALMAC day one: off to the races.
