Sunday, 16 August 2015. In just under a week we will be heading West again! We are hoping to make it to the Pacific Coast again but will take a more Northerly route this time. This weekend has been spent getting everything ready and we cannot wait to hit the road! We did take some time off from preparations to ride out to the Maine Coast just so we can say we rode from Coast to Coast! Views off the point. It was a great ride and a beautiful day. Saturday, 4 October 2014. Days 54 and 55. Gettysburg, PA. Wednesday, October 1st. After an amazing breakfast at the South Court Inn we rolled back onto the road. It was quite foggy so we made the decision to head up the Shenandoah Valley below the cloud and fog instead of going back to the Skyway. Monday, 29 September 2014. Day 52. Sick Day! Monday, September 29th. I have felt lucky so far that neither of us got sick on this trip. However, our lucky streak ended yesterday and today. Poor Tom had a dreadful day yesterday, getting more and more congested, sneezing and sniffling with aches and chills. Apparently it is no fun sneezing into a full face motorcycle helmet! Friday, 29 August 2014. End of Week 3! End of week three already - what a time we are having! Every day we cannot wait to get out on the road to see what sights we will see. We have had some incredible, once in a lifetime rides (although we both have our favorites we would love to ride again some day). Monday, 6 October 2014. What an incredible adventure! We are happy and proud to have completed the whole trip without mishap. The bikes never missed a beat and proved to be fantastic touring machines.
