Wednesday, 28 July 2010. Today we went to the Minack Theatre. We wore long trousers for the first time this holiday. It felt funny on the legs to wear long trousers after so long. We packed cushions and coats and set off towards Penzance. Our first stop was the fishing village of Mousehole. Just past Penzance. More good news - at the end of this stretch Becks road is now paved. I crossed Becks, cut over to the Munger trail on Mission Creek Parkway and found that the Munger is quite passable, with only a few, short gravel sections. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Another chapter in the Tim S flat tire saga; this time we were only about two miles out when his rear tire blew quite dramatically.upon inspection, it appears that an earlier season rim deformity abraded the sidewall enough to allow the tube to blow out. Time for a new rim, methinks. But we can't give him to much of a hard time - in case anyone missed it, there was a little 50K. Trail run last Saturday up at Lutsen:. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Adventures in the West End. I saw our regular crew off this morning at the start of the Heck, then rode through town and out Grand Avenue. Beck's road is now open (though partially gravel). The far western section of Skyline remains closed but is no problem on a cross or mountain bike:.
