Bike it. build it. San rafael ca - san francisco ca [august 21]. Ta da the day has come. We woke up at 6 and got ready one last time. Bike it. build it. Auburn ca - davis ca [august 18]. Woke up at. 6! Woah, we forgot how good sleeping in was. We had much more energy and we were excited for our 61 mile day. The first 15 miles flew by. Most of us were riding together and took on the hills at about 20 mph. Our first turn brought us to an exceptional bike path that we would be on for 30 miles. We got ice cream and walked around for a bit before carrying on. It was still pretty early but we wanted to get in at a good time (we were teas...

Bike it. build it. I am back in New Hampshire and am almost ready to leave for Providence on Friday. Yikes. this is actually happening. I said goodbye to Savannah quickly after classes ended last week, but not without some memorable moments. Rich did some light gardening in the back yard. Then I got to spend a bit of time at the concert in the park to say quick goodbyes to my Savannah family. Austin was fresh off his Best Director win and I found him. big surprise. behind the lense of a camera.

Bike it. build it. Davis ca - santa rosa ca [august 19]. We woke up at 5 and first stopped at a crepery cafe for some dirty chai with the group before the 71 mile day. We left and made it 10 miles before Drew got 2 or 3 flats perfectly in front of a plum orchard. After a good amount of time spent eating fruit and changing tubes we got back on track. PEDAL FOR POVERTY: December 2010
http://bikingforbuildingagain.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2010. And a happy new year. The one who introduced me to it all has contributed. Once upon a time in 2007 a Dana showed a Coli and a Megan a fun little website. They all decided to apply to the neat program. Years later. Megan did. And did again. Thanks Dana! Another thank you goes out to Molly. I know somewhere in northern New Hampshire she is rocking her post-mohawk-'do. Sunday, December 26, 2010. For contributing to my next Bike and Build adventure! Thursday, December 23, 2010.

Monday, May 2, 2011. Well it is safe to say that I have neglected this whole blog for quite some time. Oh well! Many thanks to all who have donated to my bike trip. I have the support of many charitable people and it makes the trip all that more important. Most recently I must thank Miss Stephy! Saturday, March 19, 2011.

Cycling from Amsterdam to Istanbul to raise $ for microcredit and connect communities along the way. Friday, September 4, 2009. My love, this life. and thank you - the end of a two month bike tour through eastern europe. I quit this stupid cross continental bicycle tour!
