A First Biking Adventure: Portland – Las Vegas. Biking the California Coast and City: Day 17. Sun, Hills and SF! Today was a big day. It was our last day riding as a threesome and also my first time riding in a big city since I left Portland. Winding up and down the hills on Highway 1. We biked closer to our final destination as a team. The closer we got to the city the safer the riding got and magically there were more bikers along these board walks and bike paths. After my interesting experience at the Yoga Tree studio the previous day, I was a little leary to return, but since I had already paid for the passes I thought I should probably get my money’s worth.
