Friday, August 5, 2016. Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3. Fly from Denver to Miami, Miami to Lima. The connection should be easy right? Because they had switched gates there was no crew available to deplane our flight from Denver! We stood in the plane waiting to get off for almost a half hour. In the mean time our flight to Lima 2 gates down disappeared. No big deal right? Nope yet again… We get to LATAM and they have no record of ANY reservations for us! We make it to Peru and now all is well right?

Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Our 25th Anniversary Trek. Hike 80 with Alan then drive to Denver, dinner at Applebee’s. Fly from Denver to Miami to Doha. Fly to Miami, walk 6.3 mi, dinner at the airport in Miami, Fly to Doha Qatar. Night in Doha Airport. Finish flight to Doha, walk 3.2 mi in Doha airport, dinner (pizza) in Doha airport, slept 8 hours on flight to Doha, arrived at dusk. We had a hotel room behind security at the Doha airport, so we got a good night’s sleep there. Fly from Doha to Kathmandu.

Sandy worked a half day this morning, then cut the grass (her workout for the day) while I went for a bike ride.
