First Day of Summer. We headed to Disneyland on our first official day of summer. My mom came with me and Bethany, Lila and Bill met us there later in the day. We wanted to see the new Paint the Night Parade. We saved two benches for SIX hours. It was well worth it. the parade was AMAZING! Last Day of School.

Friday, February 27, 2015. Speech Meet and Math Olympics. Ryan has had a pretty busy time at school. First up was the speech meet. He recited a Bible Verse and was awarded a blue ribbon. Monday, June 30, 2014. Annual PINC Camping Trip. We had a fantastic time on our Parents INC camping trip. The kids has a blast playing with their friends and Bill and I enjoyed hanging out with the adults. Bill took the kids on a hike to the nature center. Claire and I hung out back at camp. Sunday, March 29, 2015. The kids did a great job singing on Palm Sunday. Saturday, March 28, 2015. On March 10th my Grandpa Jim went home to be with the Lord and be reunited with the love of his life my Grandma Jeanne. He was 88 years old. We had a very nice service honoring him and remembering good times with him. I really miss my grandpa. Even though my family is very sad we do have the hope in Jesus Christ that we will see him again in heaven. Here are some pictures of my Grandpa Jim.

Thursday, June 11, 2015. It is June 10th. It is the first day of summer vacation. It is sunny and 80 perfect degrees outside. And yet, I'm blogging. Don't get me wrong. I did spend the first five hours of my day in the back yard. pulling weeds, trimming bushes, cutting down trees. But now my arms are scraped and puffy, my eyes are swollen, I can't hear out of my left ear, and I can't breathe out of my nose. I'm house-bound by my allergies. I love. On to third grade. Trip back to Germany. August 30, 2013. The wall of those missing in action. Unreal. After visiting the gravesite we walked across town for a Marine Corps tradition. Take a drink out of the devil dog fountain. History says that when the Germans saw the Marines coming at Belleau Wood they called them Hounds from Hell or Devil Dogs. February 18, 2013. I couldn’t be more excited for my great friend Melissa! She is having twin boys in just weeks! I can hardly wait to get my hands on those little guys and just love on them. I am fortunate to have such a wonderful hubby who said I could make two trips (one all alone) out to AZ to plan a shower and then to throw it! The first trip alone was so much fun! So much time to chat, eat hot meals and lots of crafting and planning. We ate at my FAVORITE restaurant at least twice! The Year of Joe.

I have always loved walking into Mom's house during Christmas time and seeing ALL the presents under the tree. It always seems very magical and so different from how I grew up.
