It's about the Journey: The first welding project
http://benandkami.blogspot.com/2010/07/first-welding-project.html
Thursday, July 29, 2010. The first welding project. Due to some recent circumstances with the Jeep (more on that later), it became necessary for us to purchase a welder. Welding is a learned skill, and before I start welding on something that our lives depends on, I thought I would start getting some practice on something less important. Kami has wanted a Jeep grill decoration for quite some time now, but they're simply too big in stock form. This is how it started the evening:. July 30, 2010 at 9:24 AM.

It's about the Journey: January 2009

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Well winter has been in full swing here, and we have received plenty of snow; which for our dogs is like heaven on earth. :D They LOVE the snow, especially Schoggi. They will chase snow balls for hours on end, and if we happen to bring a ball out the fun just triples! Schoggi will carry it around in her mouth and then purposefully drop it, just so that she can dig around to find it in the snow :D . Thursday, January 22, 2009. Here are some fun pictures of Christmas Day. This ...

We have started allowing her to be out of her crate for small amounts of time while we aren't home! We are proud to announce that we have only had one mishap.:D. A not quite empty can of chicken tuna! This yummy delight was left in our garbage can one of the times we tested Schoggi. needless to say she couldn't resist the temptation! A little Brag about Ben.

It's about the Journey: January 2011
http://benandkami.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 2, 2011. On Highway 6, halfway between Spanish Fork and Price lies Soldier Summit. With an elevation of 7477 feet, it is a 2900 foot elevation gain from the valley down below. On the summit is a Tesoro gas station, which just so happened to be closed as the clock struck midnight and rang us into 2011. Temperatures in the canyon got as low as -15*F. How do we know this? Here's the best picture I was able to get with dim lighting and a cell phone. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Then She Made It.

Sunday, October 24, 2010. After 4 years of homework and school nearly nonstop…. we are FINISHED :D WOOHOO! We took the opportunity to finish our classes this past summer since the jeep was (well still is) out of commission; without anything fun to do all summer…. we figured the best thing to do was to finish school. On August 12th approximately 4:30pm we finished our last exam, and for the next 10ish days anxiously awaited our final grades. Much to our surprise we. The idea of finally being done with sch...

It's about the Journey
http://benandkami.blogspot.com/2010/12/for-thanksgiving-vacation-kami-and-i.html
Thursday, December 2, 2010. The cool thing I found about Farmington was that the trails were pretty short, and we ran quite a few in 2 days. The pictures below were taken from both days, and the only trail names I remember are: Lower rim trail, Arch trail, Rjs, Waterfall trail, and the Anasazi Refigerator. The only carnage was on an obstacle called the Anasazi icebox (IIRC). It is basically an intersection of 2 cliffs, with a massive void between them, seen here as I was getting lined up. PS: Was that Fa...

Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Until We Meet Again. Well, our 3 dog house hold shrunk by one last night. Cody returned to live with his family. It came as quite the surprise since the plan had been to fly him to Saudi, but plans changed and he was so excited to see them again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The love of a family is life's greatest blessing. Two lives, two hearts joined together in friendship united forever in love. When you are happy, dance around and wag your entire body. It's about the Journey: May 2009
http://benandkami.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 8, 2009. Well the semester is finally over and I have finally been able to update our blog with all the exciting happenings of the last couple of months. Be sure to read all the updates (I think there are 9 new posts :D). Thursday, May 7, 2009. Kami and I decided to celebrate the end of the semester by skipping town for the weekend. We thought it would be fun to go check out the W.E.Rock event that was in Cedar. A few things I learned:. 2-Sunblock is a good thing, even if there is cloud cover.
