Monday, February 14, 2011. Washington and Utah Trip. In January, our family took a trip to go see Derek's side of the family in Poulsbo. It was about time! We hadn't seen them (except his folks and Rachelle) since we'd moved up to Alaska! So we were SUPER excited to see everybody and show Smith all his cousins and aunts and uncles. Smith with his namesake, Grandpa Smith. On the ferry to Mark and Stacy's house. All of the Cleavers. Smith was the only one who wouldn't cooperate I guess! And with Aunt Mykal.

Thursday, May 13, 2010. On April 28, I ended up going into the hospital, thinking I was in labor (2 minute apart contractions are supposed to mean labor, right? At my regular doctor's appointment the next day, my (wonderful) doctor told me that if I was still pregnant by May 12, she'd induce me. At least at that point, there was an end in sight! Thursday, October 28, 2010. Well, I've been debating chopping off all my hair since I was pregnant. But everyone told me that pregnant ladies shouldn't make rash decisions about their appearances. Monday, December 13, 2010. Every once in a while, I'll give myself a good old kitchen facial. A nice steam, scrub and mask. Derek decided to join me this time. Doesn't my man look good in pink? Getting his dad's dimple, I love it! Regardless of where he starts in the crib, whenever I come back to check on him, his head, is always touching the bumper pad. Still such a great sleeper though.
