Bill Batten, Chalk Paintings. Update from East City, March 2012. It’s been awhile since I last checked in to these pages. Close to four years or something, I think. Time for a few changes in life, some ups and downs, detours. I also plan to start a new writing project, which I’ll post here as it emerges. Something along the lines of a non-fiction novel, based on the lives I’ve run into during my time in bars, studios, hockey rinks and alleyways. And all the places in between them.
