My First Hockey Injury. Nov 26th, 2011 at 12:38 PM. Did I mention that I've been learning to play hockey with my sister? It started last spring when she asked if I'd be interested in taking a women's beginner hockey skills class at Bill Bolton Arena. I was worried I'd killed my hockey 'career' before it even started, but it looks like I'll be back on the ice next class - after, of course, I get my skates sharpened. My First Hockey Injury. Continuing the legacy…one photo at at time. Life is Short, Play Hockey! April 21, 2014. I spent last weekend in the freezing cold Bill Bolton Arena. In Toronto as the volunteer photographer for the Inaugural Sue Deacon Memorial Cup Hockey Tournament. Such a great event put on by a great community of hockey players/friends/family to raise money for Ovarian Cancer in memory of the very courageous Sue Deacon – you can read more about her inspiring story here.
