Monday, January 23, 2012. Just type the first word. Seems it has been difficult to write - the words just don't come. I have talked about my cancer and answered the question, "How ya feeling? Is it cancer or is it aging? So here's what I know. The scans six weeks ago showed no measurable change in size of tumors. No shrinkage, but no growth. The trial drug seems to be helping. Monday, December 5, 2011. Mystic misty clouds of Master shroud lift to reveal . . . is it Ranier or jagged Superstition? Either way or another, it's a peak of spiritual experience driving through the desert up the hill to touch another human life. It's only a horse that died but the feeling is of people, loved ones come and gone, and we flounder trying to mimic how John Wayne would deal with this. Friday, July 22, 2011. Between trepid and intrepid. Fortunately I remembered about prayer, meditation and sharing with another human being. Oh yes, going to the Bob Dylan concert Monday night helped too. Saturday, July 16, 2011. Technology for her birthday. Saturday, July 9, 2011. After 2 yrs of $850 COBRA premiums I now qualify for Medicare and I signed on with the CIGNA version. Looks like the out of pocket medical will add up to less, but paying my portion of the drugs could get crazy.

Work on the house continues. We're getting closer but it seems the job never ends. We got occupancy in April 2007. We now have furniture in the house. The front steps and pad are finished. We are getting ready to brick the laundry hall and laundry room. The hall is 11'6x6'. The laundry room is a 5'x6' and has 5' bi-fold doors.
