http://billkahler.blogspot.com/2009/06/hammond-pro-44-update.html
Please visit billkahler.com. Random thoughts on music, recording, music, life. . . . Sunday, June 21, 2009. Hammond Pro 44 update. So I finally got the extension tube for the Pro 44. It took a bunch of emails and calls to customer service before I finally got a reply. I was told I had to order the part (#MP-181) from a Hammond dealer. Strangest thing about it was that since it was drop shipped from Hammond, they couldn't tell me any details on cost! This will be my last Hammond purchase I believe. Please...

Please visit billkahler.com. Random thoughts on music, recording, music, life. . . . Thursday, November 6, 2008. Am I the only one who wants a recording interface without preamps? I'm looking to upgrade my recording chain and have some very good racked up preamps. I would love something I could use that would allow me to output the signal from the pre and go into the computer but all I see on the market are these devices with 8 preamps and an ADAT in. What's up with that? December 2, 2008 at 8:29 AM.

Please visit billkahler.com. Random thoughts on music, recording, music, life. . . . Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Sonicbids, Taxi - worth the money? A couple things bother me about Sonicbids. The membership renewal without prior notification is the main reason I dropped them. I realize there is the "fine print on the contract" and so on but the first notice I had of renewal was on my credit card statement and I did not appreciate feeling like the fee was "sneaked past me.". The venue and Sonic Bids.

http://billkahler.blogspot.com/2010/06/one-music-career-strategy-for-just-out.html
Please visit billkahler.com. Random thoughts on music, recording, music, life. . . . Friday, June 11, 2010. One music career strategy for the just out of college set. I heard an idea once from Alan Rowoth. That I thought was brilliant was advice to a young singer/songwriter which could apply to a band. "Young" being the key adjective. Lots of work but very doable if you have a dedicated band. (The idea probably works best for duos and solos obviously.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
