Knaresborough's Mayor for One Year
Bill Rigby's Blog: an interesting hustings
http://billrigby.blogspot.com/2010/05/interesting-hustings.html
Knaresborough's Mayor for One Year. Tuesday, 4 May 2010. The 'Churches Together' group organised a hustings in Beverley Minster on 26 April. I'm sorry it has taken time to reflect on it in the blog. All in all it was good for the Greens. 250 or so came, and the feedback afterwards was positive. A few more thousand needed before I can be confident of winning the seat. Knaresborough's Mayor for One Year. Wednesday, 21 November 2012. Who is this geezer? I need to try to explain what has been going on in the two and a half years since the last post. After the election - that one where no-one won - I lost the will to blog, but have been up to lots of other stuff. and the image above is an example of this. That is the face of Wilko Johnson - the one from Dr Feelgood. In a field north of Beverley at the end of September. Great gig - and we ran the Green Tent - great fun.

Knaresborough's Mayor for One Year. Friday, 7 May 2010. My Green mate Richard has put up an interesting blog. Encapsulating the best of the night from our point of view. For my own part, 686 votes was a bit gutting. Better keep on with the day job. Hearty thanks to all of you who bravely voted for us. There was a strong incentive to vote for an 'old' party, in order to keep out a worse one. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Knaresborough Town Council Website.

Saturday, May 2, 2015. Corrina's new PAYF (pay as you feel) cafe - Harrogate. Congratulations to Corrina and friends on the opening of the cafe yesterday. What a great idea! Note the light shades made of empty food cans - and that town cryer again! Just felt it was somewhat ironic for the ex Tory MP to cut the ribbon when his party has widened the gap between rich and poor so that projects like this are so necessary! Friday, December 19, 2014.
