Monday, September 8, 2014. Monday, Sept. 8th. As we visited Bill today, he was on the balcony of the ICU just soaking up the sun and it seemed to invigorate him. His facial swelling is going down and he is looking generally more healthy. We had some good laughs and its good to see him back to his old self. Sunday, September 7, 2014. Saturday, Sept. 6th. It was a long day of talking with doctors, nurses and seeing Bill just lay very uncomfortable and in pain. Thursday, September 11, 2014. Thurs Sept. 11th. Today seemed to be another good day. He worked hard in physical therapy and was exhausted by the afternoon. Heather and he are becoming a good team together. Another sign of improvement was him eating a Jimmy John sub as the C collar make it hard to swallow anything. Workouts require fuel right? Bill and Heather and the family truly want to say thank you to the community for the money that was raised ($41K as of today! Lake Almanor - ripping it up!
