John and Julie have been a big help. Mark called and his contractor Dave has started on the foundation work on the NC house. Soon, I will be lea...

John and Susan Vance: February 2007
http://johnsusanvance.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
John and Susan Vance. Saturday, February 17, 2007. Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes never tasted so good! Mom has been a real inspiration, handling the situation amazingly well. We love her very much. The kids (I have 5 brothers and sisters) made the commitment to be there everyday, and except for a snow storm day, have been able to honor this commitment for the last 4 1/2 weeks! I think this is extraordinary and a tribute to how much we love our mom! Lately, it has been snowing like crazy.

John and Susan Vance. Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Sailing at the Lake - 2007. One night, John and I spent the night and had a wonderful early morning sail - there were no motor boats and the water was like glass. We needed little wind to make the boat move. It was a magical sail. Recently I was able to watch the races from the committee boat and got some good pictures. Four Eagle Lake Sailors go the the Diamond Lake Regatta and Get Stoned:. John and Susan Vance. Sunday, January 01, 2006. Reflections on New Year's Day. New Year's Day - a time to remember 2005 and look forward to 2006. Last year was a time of wonder and change. 2005 ends with our children the most content that we've known them. It's part of the marriage contract! They even have similar personalities (which is to say - quiet but a rock when you need them.) What's not to love! She continues to take speech classes just in case and she finds the two disciplines closely related...

John and Susan Vance. Wednesday, May 17, 2006. They made so much that Dad got some too. Julie, Kris and my Dad all got me flowers so it smells pretty nice around here! Of course, I talked on the phone with all the kids. It's so nice to be remembered and know you are loved! I am lucky to have such great kids. John got me a bunch of tomato and basil plants (my request) which will be fun this summer and a Saphire CD. I love him VERY much! She is such a loving Mom to Aidan. I am very proud of her.
