Bimini Sands Blog: Bimini Spared from Hurricane Irene
http://biminiblog.blogspot.com/2011/08/bimini-spared-from-hurricane-irene.html
Bimini Spared from Hurricane Irene. The team at Bimini Sands is happy to report that little Bimini was essentially unaffected by Hurricane Irene. We've had some gusty winds and periodic rain for the last two days, but nothing even close to what some of the other islands of the Bahamas experienced. All utilities on the island were also unaffected, and Bimini is very much open for business. Bimini Sands Beach View. Helpful Links - External. Boating in south Florida.
