http://www.foodgospelaccordingtoruth.com/2012/03/maggianos-rigatoni-d.html
Tuesday, March 13, 2012. There is no denying it.I am a pasta junky. It is my happy place, the dish that I always enjoy/crave with an unnatural desire, no matter how it is prepared. It is also one of the leading causes of why my jeans seem to shrink a bit every time I pull them out of the drawer, but that is another story entirely! This could officially take the cake for being my favorite pasta dish of all time! When I recently came across this recipe on Pinterest (follow me on Pinterest here. 189; quart ...

The Food Gospel According to Ruth: Tuna London Broil with Wasabi Cream Sauce
http://www.foodgospelaccordingtoruth.com/2015/04/tuna-london-broil-with-wasabi-cream.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Tuna London Broil with Wasabi Cream Sauce. This recipe originated, to the best of my knowledge, from the Tennessean right here in Nashville but it came to me through a family friend. As always, I am on the "it's almost summer and I have to be in a bathing suit soon" diet so fish it is, fish it will be for the next few weeks! I must admit, tuna is not one of my favorites but I think this comes from the fact that I often times over cook it so it is dry and not so yummers! Set up th...

Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Salt and Vinegar Chicken Wings. For the longest time I was one of those people who "didn't like chicken wings". They were just so messy, they seemed like a bunch of work for so little, they were just not what I was going to order at a restaurant.that all changed when I realized the true purpose of a good wing.to get a delicious ranch dressing in my mouth. SOLD! I was a goner! It is truly amazing the things you learn in college.Wings soon became my favorite menu item. You the know ...

The Food Gospel According to Ruth: Quick Pasta with Shrimp, Green Olive, Orange & Baby Arugula
http://www.foodgospelaccordingtoruth.com/2015/07/quick-pasta-with-shrimp-green-olive.html
Monday, July 6, 2015. Quick Pasta with Shrimp, Green Olive, Orange and Baby Arugula. This time of year I am more in the mood for something light and fresh than a thick heavy cream sauce but, and this will come as no surprise to anyone, I still cannot give up pasta. That carb-loading temptress! I just can't quite pasta! So instead of trying to swim against the current, I simply adjust what I add to that starchy devil! This is a great spring and summer salad that satisfies all of my cravings! While pasta i...

The Food Gospel According to Ruth: Chicken Tetrazzini
http://www.foodgospelaccordingtoruth.com/2011/02/chicken-tetrazzini.html
Monday, February 21, 2011. I love this recipe! I make it all the time and whenever I am asked to make a dish to take someone, I make this. I took it to a co-worker when I lived in Atlanta after his wife broke her ankle just a few short weeks before Christmas and his young sons said they wanted more "chicken spaghetti". Don't be thrown off.there is no marinara sauce in this but I thought that was too cute not to share! 1 onion, diced. 1 teaspoon dry mustard. 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning. Hats off to you R...

Saturday, May 16, 2015. This time of year in middle Tennessee the sweet scent of fresh strawberries permeates the air. People flock to the flat bead trucks that sit road side with pints full of the sweet fruit. Their season is short, sweet, and delicious! There is no sweeter flavor than that of a freshly picked middle Tennessee strawberry! 2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled. 4 cups white sugar. 1/4 cup lemon juice. In a wide bowl, crush strawberries in batches until you have 4 cups of mashed berry.
