Monday, January 17, 2011. Heather Baily Quilt Finished.CHECK. So happy this is done and that I can move onto my next project which is NOT sun glasses cases! Big FAIL on that idea. So about the quilt.over my Christmas holiday I finished this up for my sister's wedding gift (a few months late).vicariously from my grandmother. It was a great learning experience! She got to celebrate today with Grandma and Grandpa who were in town from Utah. We did cake and presents (and a trip to Milburn Orchards.see a few posts ago) to celebrate, and while she had no idea what was going on, she is pretty naturally enthusiastic, so she loved it all! Julia, stop growing. I mean it, stop it! Happy Happy Birthday baby girl.

Thursday, January 8, 2009. We stayed here for Christmas and had a really great time. Weeks before Christmas, we would ask Ethan what he wanted Santa to bring him and he would say, "bring Thomas." Wednesday, January 28, 2009. It was cold yesterday and we were bored, so we pulled out some old baby toys and played away. We decided to head outside. Because Ethan had been begging all morning to "make snowman balls! We made just snowballs - be we had a lot of fun. Sunday, March 30, 2008. Ethan has been sick for the tail end of this week so we have been couped up in the apartment. We finally decided yesterday afternoon to see the famous cherry blossoms surrounding the tidal basin. Yesterday was a much more relaxing stroll despite the ravenous ;) crowds.
