Campbellgates in Finlandia: Almost done...
http://campbellgatesinfinlandia.blogspot.com/2011/05/almost-done.html
Friday, May 27, 2011. The bittersweet end is nigh. We begin our trip home to Olympia next Thursday, on a boat to Stockholm, heading on a winding trip on a variety of transport modes through Scandinavia- Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, then onto Germany and Amsterdam. Then home. We saw moose droppings, a possible lynx nest, and beautiful plants and underbrush that reminded me of Washington very much. Eija and Marieka on the path. Eija and Olli-Pekka showing Marieka cool Finnish plants. May 30, 2011 at 6:11 AM.

Friday, January 28, 2011. Final preparations are underway, and I bet everyone I know is wondering "Are they still here? Or, as a student said to me yesterday, "I thought you were leaving? Don't worry," I responded, "I am. Saturday." He seemed as relieved a I. I am working on packing our bags. Can we fit it all into 3 suitcases? Dear me, it's gonna be close. Campbellgates in Finlandia: April 2011
http://campbellgatesinfinlandia.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 30, 2011. Today is the first of May, a holiday in Finland. I have talked to a couple of folks who are disappointed it didn't fall on a weekday.another day off would have suited them fine! We witnessed a relay race: drink a beer, run to the specified spot, put forehead on stick and turn in circles without falling, run back and tag your teammate. It wasn't looking good. A little drizzle didn't dampen the beautiful spring day. There was ice here last week! Rob and brother Dave. I love Seuros...

Campbellgates in Finlandia: March 2011
http://campbellgatesinfinlandia.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 27, 2011. The land to the north. Getting to the airport was an adventure in itself. We decided to drive, because our flight left at 8:15am, and getting to the airport with all our stuff (Joad family in full effect! A library teaching area. A door put in between classrooms. The principal put one in her classroom first. They do Big 6 in Oulu! This shows which step each student has completed in a project. Maybe the second family photo this trip, and Marieka insists she make a "funny face".
