Visualizing Set Concordance with permutation Matrix and Fan Diagram. Research Scientist, Seoul National University Medical Research Center. Researcher, Visualization and Interaction Research Group. Assistant Professor, Childrens Research Institute. Childrens National Medical Center. Bohyoung Kim, Bongshin Lee, and Jinwook Seo, Visualizing Set Concordance with Permutation Matrix and Fan Diagram. Vol 19, Issue 5-6, pp. 630-643, 2007. Pp 142-143, 2006. [ Poster. Return to Bioinformatics Resources.

GOTreePlus

http://bioinformatics.cnmcresearch.org/GOTreePlus

An Interactive Gene Ontology Browser for Proteomics Projects. We developed an interactive gene ontology visualization tool named GOTreePlus. That can superimpose annotation information over gene ontology structures. GOTreePlus can facilitate the identification of important GO terms while visualizing them in the gene ontology structure. The interactive pie chart summary for a selected gene ontology term provides users with a succinct overview of their experimental results. In press, 2008.

3

GeneShelf

http://bioinformatics.cnmcresearch.org/GeneShelf

A Web-based Visual Interface for Large Gene Expression Time-Series Data Repositories. Traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI). We released the first visual interface called "SpinalCordLink" last year. Incorporating users' comments and addressing usability problems, we designed and developed a new visual interface called GeneShelf. GeneShelf also integrates biological pathways from WikiPathways.org. We used a new data processing framework to integrate relevant pathway information into the analysis process.

HCE - Hierarchical Clustering Explorer

http://www.cs.umd.edu/hcil/hce

For Interactive Exploration of Multidimensional Data. HCE 35 (Power Analysis). HCE) applies the hierarchical clustering algorithm without a predetermined number of clusters, and then enables users to determine the natural grouping with interactive visual feedback (dendrogram and color mosaic) and dynamic query controls. HCE 1.0 implemented four general techniques that could be used in interactive explorations of clustering results. By adding three new features to HCE:. As an important part of our continu...
