To study this, Nathavitharahna et al., (1994) decided to compare sIgA in the milk of women from three groups (sample size): women born in and currently living in Sri Lanka (n=64), women who had immigrated to England from Sri Lanka or other nearby countries in South Asia (n=20), and women born in and currently living in England (n=75).
