This is the path that the wayward bandsaw took as it cut through my Kevlar gloves. The pins that hold the bone together are evident here. They come out in about 4 weeks. I still think he put it back on crooked. The underside of my finger is where the good Doctor did the hard work of putting all of the plumbing back together. You are the BEST!

Friday, January 22, 2010. Thank the Good Lord it was just a finger. He could have very well sliced off his hand. At this point it seems to be healing nicely. Only the very tip end is showing, but he has feeling in that part, so that is a good sign. The doctor did say that it would never be the same. He probably won't be able to bend it at the top knuckle. We are going to Hilton Head for some fun in the sun, run my toes through the sand, frolic in the waves and just generally have a big ol' time!
