At crossroads, wondering how my life will turn out. Return to the frontpage. Drop a line or two. Tuesday, October 19, 2004. This is my essay I wrote for the prelims. I thought it deserved more than what I was given although my expressions are rather cliche. I am going to die. I am going to be buried in cold hard concrete instead of the cool moist soil of nature". I thought silently. Only 900 left to go." Commented one fireman. I asked the fireman who was carrying me onto a sretcher. And from my observati...

At crossroads, wondering how my life will turn out. Return to the frontpage. Drop a line or two. Friday, July 30, 2004. Everything has its limitations. Know the limits, or I'm afraid, you stand to lose out. Continue with #1) subtly promoting homosexuality. Mistreatment of sports equipment. What has the world come to? But to be more realistic, I think she is just trying to appear friendly and familar with the students. Well, she failed miserably. Plus, everyone hates her. What an achievment. Money is just...

At crossroads, wondering how my life will turn out. Return to the frontpage. Drop a line or two. Monday, November 29, 2004. Today, Faya has ditched her title as a Singaporean student and left for Thailand to assume the identity of Fa-yen (Fye? The Thai citizen. Almost everyone who came to see her off cried, or at least teared. I did not cry. I don't know, but my emotions lie in a grey area. I wasn't too sad, but I wasn't too happy either. I'm sure this will pass, like all the good and bad things to come.

At crossroads, wondering how my life will turn out. Return to the frontpage. Drop a line or two. Sunday, July 31, 2005. I went to Parkway parade to meet up with my fellow groups members of both the King Lear and Dracula projects. Vanessa foolishly signed the same people up for the Dracula project in the 3rd week when radiah, nursila and I already had the King Lear project under our belt on the 3rd week. The topic was femme fatale. In Dracula. Obviously no one thought of that. Anyway, I spent 1 hour gettin...

At crossroads, wondering how my life will turn out. Return to the frontpage. Drop a line or two. Friday, May 28, 2004. Feeling the growing intensity of the pressure acting on my bladder, I had no choice but to abandon the book that I could not rip my gaze away from for the past few hours. Flinging the book aside, I sprang up and stomped my way ungracefully to the toilet. Was it because I have grown too proud and unknowingly, start to treat people condescendingly? No matter, I have humbled myself. I h...

At crossroads, wondering how my life will turn out. Return to the frontpage. Drop a line or two. Saturday, April 30, 2005. My computer is fixed. No one seems to be online. No one.weird. Tuesday, April 26, 2005. Today is my birthday! 17 already.I've never imagined that I would reach this mark. Not as in I have always thought I would die early, but 17 is an age that is beyond the boundaries of my imagination. I am growing out of my teens already! How fast is that? 17 is way too old. Now what excately did I see to inject such life into a 'O' level candidate whose days of rest are endangered? I saw, a bag. But not just. So, it is time to reveal my conclusion. Actually, I think you might have figuared it out. Singapore is a communism paradise. Even under such intense capitalist influnce, the people still conform to uniformity. How amazing. At crossroads, wondering how my life will turn out. Return to the frontpage. Drop a line or two. Thursday, December 30, 2004. Spent a day in Portugal and ate the famous egg tarts. Damn good. Then had a 6 hour stopover in Paris before the flight to Singapore. I went on a Paris escapade with no adults! That is the coolest. Thank goodness there were people my age in the tour group. Can you believe a roundabout trip on the train cost 16 euros? That is about SDG$32! Friday, December 17, 2004. Well, my clothes...
