I thought I would just post some images from the remaining time I spent in Florida. Most are shore birds as they were pretty easy to photograph on Captiva Island, as opposed to warblers and other birds which I constantly struggled with. Bottlenose Dolphin taken from a cruise. I wanted the taste of Ina’s dessert, but in a smaller size. So I searched the Internet, combined and scaled some recipes and developed a cheesecake recipe for an 8″ springform pan. Small Cheesecake, ala Ina. 1 C graham cracker crumbs (6 double crackers, crushed). 1/2 stick butter, melted (4Tbs). 1 Tbs lemon juice. 1 Tbs sour cream.

Last Friday, the 29th, I headed off to Gatwick after leaving work at 12:30pm to spend the weekend in Germany with my daughter and her fiance. There was plenty to keep me occupied with a large group of Common Kestrels, the most I'd ever seen at one time,Common Redstart, Yellowhammer and fly over Common Buzzards and Ravens. At the next and last vineyard I again opted for the car park and was rewarded with good views of a Hoopoe.
