Kathy from KOOL KATS quilting in Toowoomba came to our quilting group. We had a two day retreat at home making a Bali Butterfly. Fist day Kathy tutored us , second day we continued to sew. Mr Bird cooked all our meals and the lovely ladies gave us these tulips for preparing the food. Tulips are my favourites. My friend Margie S's quilt. Sunday, July 27, 2014.

This summer is all upside down for us because it's continuing to march on but we feel like we're missing it. We're busy and tired and in a state of confusion in this house. Her birthday party was at her dance studio and her little friends came ready to dance. They all had a fantastic time dancing, doing the limbo, and for me the highlight was watching Ceci tap her friends with a lighted wand and 'freeze' them to the song from Frozen, "Let it Go." Months ago I received this book as an advance copy and read it, but I forgot to post a review so I reread it to do my review justice. I liked it just as much, maybe even more, the second time as I did the first. When you look at the cover you might think it’s a Romance novel, all lavender and pretty. But don’t judge a book by it’s cover. This story is anything but simple. He is sent to. And there is love.
