If the current trends of child labour continues, the 2016 target of eliminating the worst forms of child labour will be missed, says the latest report on global child labour by the International Labour Organization (ILO). Hazardous child labour is the main category of the worst forms of child labour. It includes work in unsafe or unhealthy environments that could cause death or injuries to children due to poor safety and health standards.
