At 3 1/2 months old, Hayes is so strong that he can balance for, well, only about 1 second, but he is REALLY strong, I promise! We were finally able to capture the shot after a couple of attemps. Saturday, September 05, 2009. Over the hill and through the woods. To grandmother's house we go! Last night, Hayes spent the night at Emmy and Papa Rick's house. Justin left early this morning to go to the Auburn football game, and I ran the 8k race and then headed to work. Luckily, my mom was able to keep Hayes during the day and they were able to have some Hayes and Emmy time! Friday, September 04, 2009. Whitney Reads to Hayes. A few nights ago I was reading a Peter Rabbit story to Hayes just before bed. He thought it was the funniest thing, so I read it again. Justin came running in with the camera, and I'm SO glad he did! He captured the precious moment just in time. I hope you enjoy watching this video. Friday, July 31, 2009. Oatmeal Cereal is WORSE! You'd think that I was trying to make the baby eat brussel sprouts! Hayes actually pressed his lips together in prostest of the foreign goop I was trying to feed him. Awesome. Hope this will not be the picture of. New food we try! He STILL won't eat the rice cereal. But we moved on to oatmeal tonight anyway. I'll try this for a week or so, and then try fruits and veggies. This week, on vacation, I let Hayes suck on a slice of cantelope and he LOVED it!
