The sign below is in Llangefni, the centre of this island, the administrative centre too, with officials at the council offices and all sorts. I can't say that I like Llangefni much, in fact I avoid the town as much as possible, but when I moved here in June 2005, I was hoping for a decent supermarket to open in the Autumn when this sign was erected. Thanks for keeping in touch and I hope to return to this blog soon, but I am afraid that as circumstances are declining so rapidly this is now "on hold". Friday, July 22, 2005. Wed 20th July 2005. This hospital is the biggest one I have ever been inside. Its long corridors, its signs, its colour zoning does not seem to help the confused visitor, but quite the reverse, it fills you with horror and bewilderment. I wonder how many people have not made it to appointments because they just never found where they had to be before they died en route. I like to be adaptable. the sign of a true traveller. Monday, February 27, 2006. A Brief Visit to Lincs. I am still in Spalding, and among a thousand and one tasks I had to get done, I managed to get a few hours off to visit Dandan and see a huge chunk of his photos. Saturday, December 31, 2005. Happy New Year to all my readers! I had a couple of people ask why I had not done a blog for Christmas, but I was just so busy cooking and then driving the food to my parents place that I really didn't feel Christmasy. Just a big relief that it was over. So now it is the New Year, almost, a time to take stock, and sort of make plans to move forward, even if its just in little steps. I don't usually make resolutions, but this year, I am making one. Happy New year everyone!

Monday, October 31, 2005. I left Wales sometime around 4pm on the Friday and drove down to London. I should have checked on the Underground. As they have been doing engineering works on the Piccadilly Line so parking at Oakwood was not such a good idea, this time. I got to my hotel.
