Thursday, May 20, 2010. Guest Blogger - Holly. Check out her blog! And was afraid to tell me. We prayed about it and felt like it was the right time for us to start trying to have a baby. The next four years brought a lot of change in our lives. We lost two more babies, moved from Rhode Island to Utah to Illinois, met with another fertility doctor, Nathan graduated from college and re-enlisted in the Navy and we made the decision that adoption would be the way we would bring children into our family.

Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Where were YOU today? So, ladies (and gentlemen? Where were YOU today between 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm? Well, I'll tell you where you SHOULD have been. I haven't written anything like that since 8th grade, that was fun! Every Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:00 at Layton LDS Family Services. What do we do? Today, we did a creative object lesson, and since it was just birthmothers (a rare occurrence! What you've done does not define you, it refines you". Can't wait to see you there!

I think I may be the only person who calls her Paigey and not Paiger. Paige is one of those girls that you meet, fall in love with instantly, and will never forget. She is, also, a birthmom. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Serving our country is no stranger to our family. My grandfather served in WWII, my father in Veitnam, an Uncle who gave his life in Vietnam, and cousins in Iraq. Now my son in Afghanistan. When my boys were younger I received a blessing that talked about how proud of my country I would one day be. A few years later a thought came to me that one or more of my boys would serve our country, hence the reason for my strong feelings of love for our country. We are so blessed!

Monday, May 31, 2010. The third time we we have seen him off to the airport to go back to the army, by far the worst and most emotional.I barley made it through this picture before I broke down in sobs, uncontrolable sobs. Kasey's dad and his little brother Hunter. I know it meant so much to him that they were able to be there to see him off. The day before he left they all went fishing. Kasey said it meant the world to him that they were able to go do that and spend the time together. Dinner and a movie.
