Thankfully, we did attend a natural birth class and it was very helpful. Hearing different stories about how things might go, what’s normal, what questions you should ask, etc. Though helpful, we did have to pay to learn about an experience that links us all fundamentally as humans. Why can’t we read these stories online in a place free from prejudice or judgment? Just women openly sharing their stories, helping other women prepare for that important day.

Ready or Not…Here I Come! On Saturday, the last day that Mom was here, I took her to the airport and said I’d let her know if anything started to progress. At this point I was sure that labor would take forever since the last week had dragged on and on and on and on and on and on! So much for mother’s intuition. Why wouldn’t the baby just come already?
