Self Catering Cottages in Westray, Orkney. How it All Started. Thank you for looking into travelling all the way to this northern corner of Europe and staying at the Bis-Geos. I hope a visit to this place will give to you what it gave to me; from the moment I saw the old ruin to the days I spend here now enjoying the feeling of the place with its spectacular views. I often think that nature is on stage from here with constant changes in the sea and sky. In aid of a local charity.

Raising money for local charities. Our plan, to create the BISGEOS 12 MILE RUN/WALK as a special day in ORKNEY, has worked out and we are proud to raise substantial funds with this event for people in need in ORKNEY. About The Bisgeos Run. The idea, to organize a charity run/walk on WESTRAY dates back to June 05. When Ruth, Michelle and myself had our morning tea in the islands surgery such an idea appeared, was taken up with enthusiasm and soon a rough concept of the BISGEOS 12 MILE RUN/WALK was done.
