Bishop's Blackboard: An Elementary Education Blog: Gelli Print Flowers
http://bishopsblackboard.blogspot.com/2015/04/gelli-print-flowers.html
Saturday, April 25, 2015. Here are some large scale flowers that my students made from Gelli Prints. I talked about Gelli Printing in my previous post. My kids absolutely love making Gelli Prints and I think these turned out awesome. The students worked in stations to trace and cut out circles and petal shapes. They then glued them together. I hung up their flowers in the back hallway of our school by the art room. Posted by Hayley Bishop. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

tattling to the teacher: November 2014
http://tattlingtotheteacher.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Tattling to the teacher. Sunday, November 30, 2014. From a Pigeon Thanksgiving to a Christmas Geome-tree. November might have been the BEST and LONGEST author study I've ever facilitated, but it was so much fun! We studied Mo Willems. and who doesn't LOVE Mo? My kids loved every one of his books. I think mostly the Pigeon though! Oddly enough, the Pigeon is very very low for my second graders, but they wanted to keep reading it again and again! I absolutely love this unit! Anyway, I'm off to bed! Saturda...

Tattling to the teacher. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Math centers = loud. Yes, it is loud! I don't mind it so much, because I know MOST of the kids are learning something important, but DANG it is loud! Sometimes it's hard for me to teach a small group it is so loud. This kit is actually designed for kids to take home games to practice, but my kids aren't real fon...

Some of those stickers say plot, main idea, retelling, reading/writing connections, writing procedures, and some are organized by author. I have this addiction to books. I love them! There are certain ones that I REALLY love to read to the kids, like Bubba the Cowboy Prince, Recess Queen, Catalina Magdalina. and . and . Introducing.the awesome tree! Thanks to Mrs. Jump's blog. Thursday, August 2, 2012. I've felt impressed lately concerning the importance of learning, remembering, and acting commensurately upon my true identity and purpose in life. I've found that it totally changes the way I think, act and feel. I'm happier as I do so. I've drawn upon The Family: A Proclamation to the World, the scriptures, and other sources to come up with the following two graphics, which we've printed and mounted in our ward 3rd-hour meetings. 8220;I would charge you to say again and again ...
