Everything But The Kitchen Sink: What a world, what a world...
http://kathi-harper-hill.blogspot.com/2015/08/i-know-all-of-you-have-wondered-what.html
Everything But The Kitchen Sink. There was an error in this gadget. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. What a world, what a world. I know all of you have wondered what the heck I've been doing, since I have obviously not been blogging. Well, gather round the kitchen table (it seats five, that should be plenty) and I'll let you in on what my life has been like since my last blog. Then there was our ladies church meeting, which I barely remember I was so tired. We have a generator, which gives us the refrigerator, ...

Everything But The Kitchen Sink: Don't do That
http://kathi-harper-hill.blogspot.com/2015/08/dont-do-that.html
Everything But The Kitchen Sink. There was an error in this gadget. Monday, August 3, 2015. Daughter has a friend who was in a bad motorcycle accident a few years back. He was hurt pretty seriously, and was out of work for some time. But, of course, he didn't stop riding. So, yesterday he was in another, much worse accident, not only hurting himself but grievously injuring his girlfriend. I see fatal motorcycle accidents in the news (sometimes local) every day. Sorry, I don't understand. PS: Please don't...

Mara No More: Seasons...perhaps we anticipate a season of travel without quite realizing we are doing so...
http://maranomore.blogspot.com/2012/12/seasonsperhaps-we-anticipate-season-of.html
A Journal in Pursuit of Constructive Eclecticism. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Seasons.perhaps we anticipate a season of travel without quite realizing we are doing so. This is a blog post, not a Facebook update. I realized it three sentences in. I don't always catch it. Twenty years since I lived anywhere else? And with the University here, of course, the world comes to us. All I know is that all of this, this discomfort, this emerging need, must be building trust and faith. I think these past two ...

Mara No More: My Grandmother's Kitchen Table, with a Lazy Susan in the Middle
http://maranomore.blogspot.com/2013/09/my-grandmothers-kitchen-table-with-lazy.html
A Journal in Pursuit of Constructive Eclecticism. Monday, September 9, 2013. My Grandmother's Kitchen Table, with a Lazy Susan in the Middle. My grandfather, her husband, used to sit at that same table with his red-backed playing cards, playing a game of solitaire. She had her crosswords. He had his cards. I don't do crosswords, or play cards alone. But I remember the cigarette being tapped out into a heavy glass ashtray. I remember the cards arrayed on the kitchen table. View my complete profile.

Mara No More: August 2013
http://maranomore.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
A Journal in Pursuit of Constructive Eclecticism. Friday, August 30, 2013. What All Happened Last Week, Part 1. We had a rough week last week, and I talked and explained, both in person and on Facebook, until I was tired of talking about it, but I'll go ahead and talk about it again anyway, because this is real life. This is the way things really happen in this crazy, mixed up world. And then on Tuesday I am attacked by a large and strangely aggressive cock roach. Links to this post. I get back to work u...

Everything But The Kitchen Sink: July 2015
http://kathi-harper-hill.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Everything But The Kitchen Sink. There was an error in this gadget. Friday, July 31, 2015. Just before dark, I finally got around to fixin' beans. Daughter was at work, and, because it was such a small mess, I didn't ask Husband to help. Alone on the back porch, stringin' and snappin', I felt kinda lonely. Lonely isn't something I feel much. Raised for almost eleven years as an only child, I learned to be alone, keeping myself entertained. (Which is one reason, I suspect, I am a writer.). Since talk was ...

Everything But The Kitchen Sink: January 2015
http://kathi-harper-hill.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Everything But The Kitchen Sink. There was an error in this gadget. Friday, January 30, 2015. We had to take Eli to the vet today. He was long overdue his rabies shot. Normally, this is far more traumatic for him than me, but today, not so. I was feeling a little PTSDie over the death of Lily, just a few days ago, right at this vet's office. Whoever heard her would fly into the bathroom and yell, "Lily! And of course, the floor was a lake. Twenty pounds doesn't sound like much. But you try keeping th...

Mara No More: Mysterious animals
http://maranomore.blogspot.com/2013/08/mysterious-animals.html
A Journal in Pursuit of Constructive Eclecticism. Wednesday, August 28, 2013. My dog. Yesterday I'm in the kitchen working on something. I don't remember what. Allie, my dog who almost died last week, walks up to me and stands there, staring at the back door. Oh, I think to myself, I guess she wants to go out. I get back to work, but still she stands there, looking as though she wants to go out. 8220; Will you see if you can figure out what she wants? 8221; I ask my husband. 8220; No, Allie is. September...

Everything But The Kitchen Sink: December 2014
http://kathi-harper-hill.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Everything But The Kitchen Sink. There was an error in this gadget. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. I've hardly blogged the past several days, because it is hard to think, even about something silly, maybe. About something silly, when your brain -pardon me - is full of snot. I've been sicker than sick and it finally traveled south to my lungs. So now I'm on an antibiotic, an inhaler (hate, hate, hate,. A decongestant and some other stuff. I could go on, but you get the drift. Tuesday, December 23, 2014.

Everything But The Kitchen Sink: February 2015
http://kathi-harper-hill.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Everything But The Kitchen Sink. There was an error in this gadget. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Give me a P! Give me an E! Give me a T! Don't you worry none, I will be blogging about the snow, a.k.a. the BIG snow. Just not today. Many of you are pet lovers. Many of you don't really like animals unless they are cooked on your plate. Some of you are in between; animals are okay, but they need to be outside. As you know, we have. Three cats and a dog. Today, I am sharing, so it can be your business, too!
