The Bite Size Kitchen: Almond Mayo
http://bitesizekitchen.blogspot.com/2014/07/almond-mayo.html
The Bite Size Kitchen. Happily experimenting with food in a tiny little space. The Bite Size Garden. July 10, 2014. Three reasons not to wait two years between posts:. You may find yourself rambling about stuff no one cares about. Wait, isn't rambling about whatever you want the whole reason why people start blogs? So tonight's blog post is inspired by artichokes. I decided to make grilled artichokes and I wanted to make homemade mayonnaise to go with them. I had made a soy mayo. Cookbook and found a rec...
The Bite Size Kitchen: Soy Mayonnaise

The Bite Size Kitchen. Happily experimenting with food in a tiny little space. The Bite Size Garden. November 17, 2008. Just as with nearly anything you make yourself, it’s far less processed and you can monitor the amount of fat, salt, and sugar you ingest much more consciously than if you let some factory make it. Plus, you can tailor homemade foods to your tastes and occasions. I cannot urge you enough to make as much as you can in your own kitchen. 1 1/8 cup soy milk. 189; teaspoon sea salt. While bl...
The Bite Size Kitchen: Risotto Cakes
http://bitesizekitchen.blogspot.com/2012/06/risotto-cakes.html
The Bite Size Kitchen. Happily experimenting with food in a tiny little space. The Bite Size Garden. June 8, 2012. These leftovers make great leftovers! 1/2 Corn meal in a saucer. Mayo (or some other kind of saucy/dippy thing). In a heavy fry pan, heat enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan (about 1/8 inch) to medium. Form risotto into patties, about 1/3 inch thick. Set patties into fry pan and fry until golden and crispy - about 4 minutes per side. August 15, 2012 at 7:56 PM. Subscribe to the BSK.
The Bite Size Kitchen: Blueberry Oat Bars
http://bitesizekitchen.blogspot.com/2012/08/blueberry-oat-bars.html
The Bite Size Kitchen. Happily experimenting with food in a tiny little space. The Bite Size Garden. August 22, 2012. Jaden thought it was cake, but then, he's always looking for cake and ice cream lately. These are perfect for breakfast, for afternoon snacking, or dessert. Makes about 12 bars. Good for about 3 days if sealed in a container. 2 cups oat flour (you can make this by processing oats in the food processor). 1 cup rolled oats. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 cup almonds, ground. 1 large banana (ripe).

The Bite Size Kitchen. Happily experimenting with food in a tiny little space. The Bite Size Garden. August 22, 2012. Roasted Carrot Sandwiches with Carrot Top Pesto. The garden is bursting with amazing treats - this is my favorite time of year! I foresee about three weeks of diner fresh from the ground coming up and I'm so excited! Probably packs well in a lunchbox, but likely not overnight. 8 slices of your favorite whole-grain bread (we used Dave's Killer Bread). 8 tablespoons carrot top pesto.

I particularly love the quirkiness of Japan that comes forth from this article. Also as a planner, I absolutely appreciate how the Japanese plan ahead so much in advance. The Bite Size Kitchen
The Bite Size Kitchen. Happily experimenting with food in a tiny little space. The Bite Size Garden. July 16, 2014. We've got plenty of PB&J coming out of our kitchen and there is nothing better than this classic American sandwich made with homemade jam. Except when it's also made with homemade peanut butter and bread . but let's not get carried away. The problem is that most jam, homemade or not, has a ton of sugar in it. Not this recipe from my Oh She Glows. Makes one jar of jam. July 10, 2014. White w...
