At startup, bitflu searches for a configuration file called '.bitflu.config'. You can edit this file or change the values at runtime using the 'config set' command. Chroot into given directory (see also runas uid and runas gid). Switch to given UID after starting up. Switch to given GID after starting up. Start bitflu: ./bitflu.pl. Connect to the client using telnet localhost 4001. Add a new .torrent file for download. Place the .torrent file somewhere on the Server running bitflu. Execute load /path/to/file.torrent. The file should appear in the download list. The download should start in a few seconds. If Bitflu somehow failed to load the .torrent file, check if:. The path to the file is correct (hint: chroot? The path to the file does NOT contain Whitespaces. Bitflu has permission to read the file.
